Got an elementary school student?  These free apps are great ways to help them learn or maybe even help parents brush up on their basic skills.  They’re free until April 16th.  After that I think they’re around $1.99 each.

Top-It Addition and Subtraction (2 separate apps) – Great way to practice and reinforce basic addition facts (0 – 10) and number comparisons or  2 digit subtraction computation and number comparisons.  One or two player game.

Tric-Trac – Competitive one or two player game makes practicing addition facts fun!

Baseball Multiplication 1-6 facts – Quick, easy way to practice & reinforce multiplication facts (1-6)

Beat the Computer Multiplication – Practice and reinforce basic multiplication facts (0 – 10)

Name That Number – Practice computation and order of operations

Equivalent Fractions – Practice and reinforce fraction concepts and relationships

Divisibility Dash – Practice recognizing multiples of a number and applying divisibility tests

Monster Squeeze – This fun & easy game helps reinforce number recognition and offers a way to practice number line concepts and number comparisons.  One or two player game.

You might also be interested in Bluster! (also from McGraw-Hill who developed the Everyday Math Apps)  Bluster helps build your vocabulary and word understanding while matching words.  It is a free app.
